Hello and welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Sonia. I am a mother, mentor, coach, podcast host, and writer. My work is rooted in connection—exploring dating, relationships and the evolving experience of motherhood & womanhood. Through Love Principles and the ‘Geriatric’ Mamas podcast, I hold space for relatable conversations around motherhood, partnership, and growth. As a freelance writer, I share thoughtful stories that reflect the depth of everyday life as well as modern dating and relationships. I aim to offer clarity, compassion, and community.

Love Principles

At Love Principles, I help women attract and keep deeply aligned love by returning home to their self-worth. As a certified dating coach, I guide women in reconnecting with their natural energy, setting strong yet graceful boundaries, and embodying the quiet composure that draws healthy, devoted relationships.

Through one-on-one coaching, Love Principles Articles, and heartfelt mentorship, I help you stop settling and start choosing. Love doesn’t require you to shrink or chase. It simply asks you to remember who you are—and to rise in your worth.

Motherhood in your late thirties or forties comes with its own beautiful challenges and victories. On Geriatric’ Mamas, I co-host honest, heart-filled conversations with women who are navigating motherhood on their own terms. We talk about fertility, career transitions, homeschooling, family dynamics, and what it really means to rewrite your story later in life.

Every episode is a mix of laughter, vulnerability, and wisdom. You’ll feel like you're sitting at the table with your smartest, most compassionate girlfriends—because you are.

Freelance Writing

I write about the framework of dating and relationships, motherhood, and the spaces in between. My work explores how we love, how we raise children, and how we redefine ourselves in the process. The tone is often candid but curated, grounded in lived experience.

Whether it’s modern dating, long-term partnership, or the mostly unglamorous magic of parenting, I’m drawn to what’s relatable—especially the parts we don’t post about. My lens is unapologetically female, emotionally fluent, and rooted in storytelling that connects.

You’ll find themes of resilience, humor, vulnerability, and relatability woven throughout everything I write. These aren’t instructionals. They’re reflections—written for women who are still becoming, still questioning, still showing up.

The Pine Point Parade Committee

I serve on the Pine Point Parade Committee in Scarborough, Maine—the team behind one of the most beloved 4th of July celebrations in the region. What began over two decades ago as a small neighborhood gathering has grown into a major annual tradition, drawing families from across Maine, 51 U.S. cities, and even Canada.

In addition to supporting event planning and coordination, I lead the parade’s social media and online presence—sharing updates, community shoutouts, and behind-the-scenes moments that help keep the spirit of the event alive year-round. I focus on amplifying local voices, honoring long-standing traditions, and connecting generations through storytelling, photography, and good old-fashioned community pride.

The Pine Point Parade is more than just a celebration—it’s a reflection of what makes this place special: new and longtime neighbors showing up for each other, creativity on full display, and a sense of joy that’s contagious. I’m proud to be part of the team that brings it to life each year—and to help make sure that the stories behind the streamers, wagons, and red-white-and-blue sunglasses don’t just get told, but remembered.
